Who We are

Rahab Centre for Hope is committed and dedicated to empowering women, adolescent girls and boys, the elderly and marginalized communities by providing shelter, education, skill training, medical, legal and holistic rehabilitation for the community we serve. Our mission is to restore dignity, rebuild lives, and create sustainable futures for those in need, especially survivors of exploitation, trafficking, and vulnerable circumstances.

With a strong focus on women’s empowerment, education, and vocational training, we strive to equip individuals with the skills and resources necessary to lead independent and dignified lives. Our programs include Shelter Homes, education, skill development courses, mental health support, legal support and community outreach initiatives, ensuring comprehensive support for our beneficiaries.

Backed by compassionate donors, dedicated partners, and a team of professionals, we work tirelessly to break the cycle of vulnerability and foster hope, resilience, and self-reliance among those we serve.

Our Vision

Form a society where vulnerable and marginalised women, victims of domestic violence and human trafficking are free from violence, expoitation, discrimination, and attain dignity, are rejuvenated, transformed and empowered into the main stream of society and work within the community to attain our goals.

To combat human trafficking, especially sex trafficking, through an integrated network of partners that work on prevention, rescue, rehabilitation, training and employment, restoring the victims’ dignity and enabling them to become independent and fully integrated into society.

What we do

At Rahab, we provide a safe haven for women in crisis, offering food, shelter, support, and opportunities for a fresh start. Our key initiatives focus on rehabilitation, empowerment, and reintegration through various programs:

  • Safe Shelter & Immediate Care – Providing security, food, and medical support for women in distress.
  • Counseling & Mental Well-being – Offering trauma-informed therapy and emotional healing.
  • Livelihood & Skill Training – Equipping women with vocational skills like tailoring, handicrafts, and digital literacy.
  • Education & Legal Aid – Supporting literacy, legal awareness, and access to justice.
  • Health & Well-being – Ensuring medical care, nutrition, and wellness programs.
  • Reintegration Support – Helping women rebuild their lives through employment assistance and social reintegration.

Through our holistic approach, Rahab empowers women to reclaim their dignity, independence, and future.

WHO WE ARE

Rahab Centre for Hope is a humanitarian charitable organisation founded in 2010, registered as a Society under the Indian Societies Registration Act. 1860. It has received its Licence from the Department of Women & Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi, and other necessary approvals from the Government of India to run a Shelter Home for women in distress, and other necessary approvals from the Government of India.

VISION

Rahab Centre for Hope – a Society formed to provide and sustain hope and to empower the deprived, discriminated and marginalized persons irrespective of caste, creed, color and culture, with the aim of facilitating them restart a new chapter of their lives.

 

To make them members of a renewed, rejuvenated community,
transformed in their daily walk, leveraging innovative opportunities,
and sharing life experiences of success.

 

To provide and equip them to meet long term needs, and attain dignified living standards.

To instill/inculcate in them high ethical values and standards rooted in divine truth and wisdom.
